Before taking a car loan, a personal loan or a mortgage, it helps to know exactly what you will pay each month and how much of it is interest. Enter the amount, the annual interest rate and the term, and the calculator shows the fixed monthly payment (standard amortisation, the most common method, known in Israel as "Shpitzer"), the total interest and a yearly schedule. Your financial details stay on your device.

Frequently asked questions
How is the monthly payment calculated?
With the standard amortisation formula: P = L × r ÷ (1 − (1 + r)^−n), where L is the loan, r the monthly rate (annual rate ÷ 12) and n the number of months. Each payment is the same; early payments are mostly interest and later ones mostly principal.
Does it include fees or index linkage?
No. It assumes a fixed rate with no fees, insurance or inflation (CPI) linkage. The real cost of a loan with fees or linkage will be higher, so compare the APR offered by the lender.
What if the interest rate is 0%?
The loan is simply divided into equal monthly payments with no interest.
