Frequently asked questions
Is this a legally binding signature?
It adds a visual electronic signature, the digital equivalent of signing a printed page and scanning it. That is accepted for many everyday forms and agreements. Some documents require a certified digital signature (in Israel, a "secure" or "certified" electronic signature under the Electronic Signature Law); for those, use a certified provider.
Is my document uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is opened and signed by your browser, and the page is not allowed to connect to other servers. Contracts and ID documents stay on your device.
How are the fields found?
If the PDF is a fillable form, its own fields are used. Otherwise the tool looks for blank lines (like ______) and labels ending with a colon that have empty space after them. Scanned pages are pictures without text, so for them, and for images, add text boxes yourself.
Can I sign more than once?
There is exactly one signature per document. Tap any page to move it there. Text boxes can be filled on every page.
Why can't I open my PDF?
Password‑protected PDFs cannot be changed without the password. Open the file in your PDF reader, save a copy without protection, and try again.
